Evénements à venir/Events to comeIEJE – Conference on the Lisbon Treaty – Brussels 26 February 2010 Almost eight years following the Laeken declaration on the Future of Europe, the Lisbon Treaty has finally entered into force. Whilst the new Treaty brings about a very significant number of institutional and substantive changes, most of the debates to date have focused on political considerations which have somewhat overshadowed its concrete, practical, impact on the day to day work of EU law professionals. With a view to updating EU law practitioners on the legal implications of the Lisbon Treaty, the Institute for European legal Studies (ULg) will hold a half-day, practice-oriented, conference on 26 February 2010 in Brussels (Fondation Universitaire). During the conference, high-level academics and practitioners will present and discuss the main institutional and substantive changes introduced by the Treaty. This conference has been credited for 3 CLE points. The programme of the conference, as well as a registration form, can be found in the attached document
