ÉCOLE D'ÉTÉ « CONFLITS ET INTERVENTIONS INTERNATIONALES »
Une semaine de formation intensive et pluridisciplinaire, délivrée par des experts issus de l'université et du monde professionnel.
Le programme (version provisoire) couvre les différents aspects des interventions internationales dans les conflits internes : prévention, décision, cadre juridique et éthique, modalités, acteurs, impacts et reconstruction post-conflit.

Public concerné
Cette école d'été s'adresse aux étudiants de Master et de Doctorat, aux universitaires, ainsi qu'aux citoyens intéressés, professionnels des milieux publics et privés, journalistes, membres d'ONG, etc.
La formation, intensive, dure sept jours,du dimanche au samedi.
L'approche est interdisciplinaire et fait appel à des universitaires et experts reconnus, provenant de différents milieux scientifiques et professionnels. Le cadre pédagogique est participatif, en ce sens que les conférences alternent avec des échanges, des ateliers et des activités qui permettent d'approfondir les débats.
Cette École d'Été est née de la coopération entre Sciences Po Bordeaux et l'Université Laval, elle se tient chaque année alternativement àQuébec et à Bordeaux. Ce projet s'appuie sur l'expertise commune en Relations Internationales et sur le savoir-faire reconnu de l'Université Laval dans l'organisation d'écoles d'été.
L'édition 2015 bénéficie de la participation de la Chaire "Défense et Aérospatial" de la Fondation Bordeaux Université.

SUMMER SCHOOL "CONFLICT AND INTERNATIONAL INTERVENTIONS"
A week of intensive and interdisciplinary training provided by academics, experts and professionals from both the public and the private sector.
The school's activities will cover various aspects of international interventions in internal conflicts ('civil wars'): prevention, decision-making, legal framework and ethical considerations, operational modalities, actors involved, impacts and post-conflict phase.
Place and dates
The school will take place from June 7th to June 13th 2015, at Sciences po Bordeaux, campus of the University of Bordeaux.
The school is co-organised with the Institut des Hautes Études Internationales of Université Laval in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
Target audience
This school is dedicated to students in Master and Doctorate programmes, to early career academics and interested citizens, as well as professionals from the public and private sectors, the media and the civil society.
It is intensive, last seven full days, from Sunday to Saturday. The approach is multidisciplinary and not only framed in the discipline of International Relations. It requires the active participation of the audience, as conferences will alternate with debates and other activities.
This project is jointly run by Sciences Po Bordeaux and the Université Laval, and the school takes place every year alternatively in one or the other location. The project builds upon the expertise on international relations in both institutions and the experience of HEI in running summer schools.
