Systematic analysis of United Nations Council Resolutions adopting restrictive measures against certain states of concern

The present table summarizes, in a schematic way, the content of embargoes Resolutions adopted of Security Council since 2000, pursuing the aim of Chapter VII of Charter of the United Nation to maintain or restore international peace and security.
The results focuses only embargoes controlling and/or prohibiting transfers of certain goods and technology which could contribute to countries’ nuclear-related, related equipment and/or assistance, weapons of mass destruction-related programmes and update the lists of persons, entities and bodies targeted.
During 13 years the countries concerned are respectively Islamic Republic of Iran (years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012); the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (years 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012); Libya (years 2011) and finally, Somalia (year 2013).
