The ESU is hosting Mr. Givi Amiranashvili as new PhD researcher. His doctoral research grant is organized in the framework of the Science and Technology Centre in Ukraine and is financially supported by the European Union.
The doctoral research is under the direction of Professor Quentin Michel and will be dedicated to: 10 year anniversary of the EU CBRN CoE initiative: Have its objectives been achieved?
The research will examine how the initiative works and how to promote comprehensive cross-border cooperation among countries and ultimately, how the EU CBRN Centres of Excellence enhance world peace and global security.
The key impact of the Ph.D. research on CBRN field and society, in general, will be to propose some recommendations to tackle the challenges and to improve effectiveness of CBRN policy and CoE initiative at the national and regional levels.
